On Friday, July 17, elected officials from Western Massachusetts, including Senator Jim Welch, Representatives Bud Williams, José Tosado, and Carlos González, presenting a large check to C3 representatives for $50,000.
This check came as a part of the $43 billion in funding approved by the 2019 MA Senate for the Commonwealth for the Fiscal Year of 2020. The $50,000 was provided for the New North Citizens Council to continue its C3 and E3 police management in the Springfield Police Department’s anti-gang and community policing program.
